TOWN ADMINISTRATOR and/or TOWN CLERK

We are looking to fill position(s) for our Town Administrator and Town Clerk. Candidate(s) must send resume with cover letter to Selectboard PO BOX 116 LIBERTY, ME 04949. We are willing to discuss either position as individual or both together to a qualified candidate. Deadline for acceptance of resumes is April 15, 2022.

Town Administrator is a part time position. The Selectboard is seeking an individual with management experience in a responsible position, preferably in local government. The successful candidate should have a background in financial management, business administration, WEB site management, and public relations. Municipal government experience with TRIO software if preferred, but candidates with differing work experience or training are encouraged to apply. A complete job description may be obtained from the Town Office. Salary is negotiable based on experience and training. Town Clerk is a part time position. The Selectboard is seeking an individual with management experience in a responsible position, preferably previous Clerk or Deputy Clerk. The successful candidate should have excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task. The front office position will process motor vehicles, Inland Fisheries and Wildlife registrations and licenses, vital records, dog licenses, assist with elections, prepare tax billing, liens, discharges and collection of taxes. The Town of Liberty uses the Trio-Harris operating system. Salary is negotiable based on experience and training. ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER

Town of Liberty seeks an ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER. Love for animals and ability to work well with people is needed for this position. Transportation is not provided. A monthly stipend as well as mileage reimbursement is given. State Certifications required to be completed within a reasonable time.
